What is the purpose of this service?

The purpose of cliply.info is to provide a service that allows you to make long urls shorter and easier to remember. This is useful for e-mail's or when you are limited to a certain amount of characters, like on the social networking site Twitter.

I have found a link that breaks the terms of service

Please report it through our contact form. We will investigate the URL and take appropriate action. Cliply.info takes terms of service violations very seriously.

Is there a limit to how many links I can shorten?

No, you are free to create as many links as you want, providing they are for a purpose and not just to abuse the service.

What is the purpose of the Password feature?

This feature allows you to prevent people from finding out where the shortened url you created goes to without the correct password (that you specified when creating the short url).

Can I preview a URL before going to it?

Yes, you can do so by pre-fixing "/prv/" to the cliply.info url. For example, to view where http://cliply.info/ri10 goes to, the url would be http://cliply.info/prv/ri10.

You can also enable the "URL Preview" feature that will automatically send you to the preview page when clicking a normal shorted link.
